After-Hours Emergency

We understand that problems do not stick to office hours.

Should a  situation arise at your body corporate, please consider if it is indeed an emergency and if it requires attention after hours (where contractors traditionally charge higher rates) or can it wait for the next business day.

Examples of emergency works that may require after-hours attention include serious plumbing blockages, burst pipes, roof leaks, common lighting being out (particularly in stairwells), lift failure and fire.

In an emergency maintenance situation:

  • Ensure that no one has been injured.  If they have arrange for medical attention

  • Ensure the area is safe and that no risk of further injury exists.  If it is unsafe please keep people clear and contact the State Emergency Service (000 for life threatening or 132500 for flood and storm response)

  • Do not put yourself at risk

  • If in need of fire, police or ambulance - phone 000

For all building maintenance that is not as severe but requires emergency maintenance attention please call HPG on:

  • 1300 362 515
