Customer Excellence

While it's great to spend time away, there is no place like home!

Three team members at Strata Management SA spent last week in Sydney at the 2024 Strata Community Association Australasia conference which focused on customer excellence.

At a time when the strata industry has received some negative coverage, it was wonderful to meet new people, re-connect with others, see new products and service offerings available in the market and to challenge lazy or outdated thinking.

With Strata Management SA represented by three accredited managers who are passionate about their chosen career, this was a wonderful learning opportunity and celebration of the most important aspect of strata, our clients.

While I absolutely adored the presentation by Robyn Moore (the nostalgia of Blinky Bill and her work with Make-a-wish brought a tear to my eye), it was eye-opening delving into the mega community that is Palm Jumeriah along with data from the Community Associations institute in America and learning how emerging technologies can be leveraged to improve client experience.

A particular highlight for Paul and I was meeting up with former colleagues from some 15 years' ago! Six of us were previously strata managers at the same company and are now in managerial positions across five different companies in four different states which proves that strata management is a wonderful career with varying opportunities.

Thank you to the SCA for a wonderful conference, full of ways to positively impact our valuable clients. I know that Samantha, Paul and myself have taken from this differing points that will be injected into the service offering at Strata Management SA.
