COVID Lockdown - Business as usual, just at home!
With the Government announcing a lockdown from 6:00pm today, 20th July 2021 all of our staff are this afternoon setting up their workspaces at home in preparation.
Not too much changes for us at this time with all staff having laptops and mobile phones. The office phones for the reception lines are heading to homes for the lockdown period while the big change for our admin team is the separation from the printer and inability to post items and difficulty preparing and collating searches for property sales during the lockdown. It is in times like this that we are glad to have invested heavily in running a mostly paperless office.
For the clients with meetings at this time all of our body corporate managers are making contact with Presiding Officers and meeting hosts to move face to face meetings to Zoom or to pospone those that cannot be held remotely with the preference to keep things moving as best we can just in case we face any extensions to the lockdown which we hope will only be for the seven days reported this morning.
